No Heat Curls!

Merry Monday Ladies!
Yesterday I briefly mentioned no heat curls, I was skeptical at this idea to begin with because my hair sucks at holding curl. Unless I fry the shiz out of it and then spray it until it looks like glass, lets face it, no curls for moi.

I saw this video a few weeks ago and last Friday I decided to try for myself!
BUT before you watch I'm gonna add a few pointers. I only added the actual video so you can see step by step how to do it, I'm not even about to vlog for y'all! Sorry!
This girls hair is wild, mine mis a lot more thin and tame so I didn't use any product! My hair was about 95% dry, not damp and I left it natural before I wrapped it.
Also, her curls are nuts at the end, I didn't wanna the whole roaring 20's look so I actually didn't sleep on mine, I left the headband on for about 2 hours, went grocery shopping and sprayed them before and once the headband was out!

Heres how mine turned out...
(ps. NOT naked! wearing my Marley Lilly towel wrap!)

So then I went in public like this... for 2 hours. Sprayed my hair with some light hairspray and removed the headband!

Finished Product:

Personally I was psyched! I have never gotten curls like this! They fell later on in the night but overall they looked wonderful! I wan't to try sleeping on them so maybe they will hold a little longer but I don't know how I feel about that band around my head all night!

I love that you didn't have to use a curling iron and seriously the whole wrapping thing took about 7 minutes! Perfect for me!

Leaving ya with an OOTD!
