Weekend Vacay

Hey Y'all!
I hope everyone had a relaxing and amazing weekend, I know I did! Last week was crazy busy and just crazy in general. Earlier in the week one of Jeremy's friends invited us to Asheville for the weekend to stay at his parents condo. I decided to bring along Emily and I am oh so glad I did!

You could not have asked for a more perfect weekend, perfect weather, perfect company, perfect food. OMG the food in Asheville!

We didn't get up there till late on Friday but we headed out and enjoyed the evening anyways! We did a little bar hopping and learned the art of free expression dance!

 ...and we rode some hogs

Saturday was an early morning followed  by a delicious breakfast, after a failed attempt at a mid morning nap we decided to start the day!

Saturday evening we put ourselves together (see above as to why this was so difficult) we headed to Solace Restaurant! My parents just do happened to be in town for a huge wine and food festival so they so generously took us all out!

Crappy picture but it's me, mom & Emily!

We headed to a jazz club after dinner and learned some more hippie dancing moves! We decided that calling it a night around 11pm was a wise decision, this picture should tell you why...

Sunday involved sleeping in and a delicious brunch that I swear, hands down was the best french toast EVER!! During brunch we were informed that there was a civil rights protest about to happen, what were they protesting might you ask? The right to be topless in public. Yes, topless.
So this little protest involved women, with no shirts or bras. totally topless. Apparently it is totally legal to be completely topless Asheville.

All smiles, too bad behind the photographer (Emily) there were topless women, everywhere.

We took a long walk around Asheville and then sadly headed back home :(
Asheville is such a beautiful and wonderful city, if you ever have the chance to go I suggest you head to the "Paris of the south" as they call it!

I had such an amazing weekend and I am so thankful for my wonderful friends!

What did y'all do this weekend?
