Workout for Wimps!

Hell has frozen over.
I am going on a "diet" and sticking to an exercise plan.
Emily is going to be my accountability partner. We are doing this together.

I found a "beginners" work out plan
I am using this starter plan because I haven't honestly had a workout routine in almost two years. I used to work out 3-4 times a week and about two years ago I stopped working out and have really "let myself go"
I decided that I HAVE to stick to this plan, if I don't I am only letting myself down and letting my body get pudgier! Luckily after some pretty ridiculous conversations I got Emily on the bandwagon! We may live almost 2 hours apart but we are doing this thing together. We also decided to add 10-20 minutes on the elliptical everyday if possible!

We ALSO decided to cut out fast food, no not Chick-Fil-A, that's a major food group, not fast food.
This is tragic for us, seriously tragic.

I feel like my problem areas are my tummy and my thighs, now I realize this workout isn't that strenuous and is probably going to be quite easy. BUT anything right now will help, I currently can't fit comfortably into any jeans I wore last fall. Not cool, I can't afford new jeans!

So maybe when I do my workout later today I will snap a "before" picture and post it on Instagram. If I feel gusty. ha, pun intended!

Who wants to do this with us? We're staring TODAY!

  1. I'm totally jumping on this bandwagon too! I keep telling myself everyday but when I actually make it outside, my run quickly runs into just a nice walk... woops! Haha but I totally agree with y'all, Chick-fil-a is def it's own food group- in no way is it fast food!
