Movin' On Up!

Monday again? ugh.
Last night I sat down and began the process of planning for our move. I'm a big planner, especially for something this big. I looked up moving companies, contacted the utilites company and decided when to switch over the eletcricity and what not.
blah, blah, blah, boring stuff.
So to make it a little more fun I started looking at moving announcements!
What are yall's opinions on moving announcements?
Are they cheesy? Are they even really needed at our age? This will be our permanent residence for years and years so I feel like it would be nice to at least send some out to family and really close friends!

These are some that I am really loving...

This one is probably my favorite!

So I wanna hear from yall! Newlyweds- did yall send out moving announcements? Or anyone, is this a normal thing to do for two young kids like us?

  1. I love the first 3. I think you should do it, otherwise you'll find yourself telling everyone you know that you moved and where your new place is.

  2. I think you should send one out! It's nice to not have to text friends and ask them for their address'
    Congrats on the new place!

  3. When I moved to Illinois I did them! It was a great way to give out my address to my friends so they didn't have to ask 100 times!!

  4. I've had several family members do it. It's a great idea. The ones you found are super cute. Again, so excited for you and the boy!! :)

  6. So you know I have one of these on my refrigerator. Do it! P.S. I'm going to need you to use that fancy new camera to take my Christmas card photo. ;-)

  7. I just sent out Paperless Post e-card moving announcements! I got the idea from a friend who had moved a few months ago and it was great because like everyone said- people will always be asking you for it! The nice thing about the e-card version was the it was A) free! and B) people can easily save it to their contacts on their phone and keep it in their email for whenever they may need it! Good luck with everything- after just moving, I know that it is def not the easiest thing so it's great that you are getting everything planned way ahead... just remember to always have a plan B in case something goes wrong!
