Wedding Wednesday: The Wedding Diaries part 3

We're getting down the nitty gritty here, 72 days until I say "I do!" With that being said, this means the RSVP's are rolling in. By mistake when I made and ordered our invites and RSVP cards I forgot the little line where people write in their name! Silly me, I mean I only had like 64 things going on.

 I of course jumped onto Pinterest and started looking for solutions to my stupid mistake. In walks the number system. All of our invites were already on an excel sheet with their address and names so I added a RSVP column with corresponding numbers 1-125. I then wrote the corresponding number on the back lower left hand corner of the RSVP card and viola', now I know who every RSVP is from! 

I thought this RSVP process would be a nightmare, but thanks to this little system It's all been smooth sailing, and of course bareMinerals! Where would I be without a flawless makeup system throughout this entire journey?

Tuesday Tunes

So this may not be a known fact about me but I love music, obsessed would be a better word. I am constantly listening to and downloading new music. Sometimes it turns out bad and I hate an artist, but most times, it's amazing. I love to find a new song or artist and just spend an afternoon indulging in something new! This summer I have perfected my playlist and I finally think I've perfected it enough to share it! Now no judging, I love me some dubsetp/weird/hip-hop/whatever music!

Pineapple Print

I am obsessed with this pineapple craze, I love the print and the fun look of it! Now I doubt I'll ever be walking around covered in pineapples but I found a few things I think I may just have to have!

I am in love with this lamp, however the price tag just isn't justifiable for a freakin' pineapple lamp. I think this would be so fun in the living room for some color and light!
I did not find the clothing craze with the pineapples my thing, but this romper is speaking to me! 
If you know me then you know I change my phone cases like I wash my hair. So obviously I kinda need this phone case! 

Confessional Friday

- I confess that I am still not recovered from the birthday fiesta held last weekend for my friend Morgan. I am still struggle bus, hard. It was 72 hours of birthday partying. And no, we did not party with old men, those are various fathers and uncles of the weekend. ha.

-I confess I worked at my parents gym all week and didn't work out once. You see, I want to work out, I need to, but I just can't. I HATE working out, if y'all have any tips or tricks for me to help me work out, let me know.

- I confess I went to a Paramore/Fall Out Boy concert Wednesday night. My high school heart was happy, my adult heart was praying for today's youth. Paramore was awesome.

-I confess I've been traveling non-stop lately and I hate it, but I'm ready to go back to the lake this evening. Maybe even try paddle boarding once again. 

Wedding Wednesday: The Favors

Oh wedding favors, how you have made my head spin. For the longest time, and still, we have no idea what we really want to do for wedding favors. I have Pinned, Googled, searched and searched for what to give as favors and I just finally went for some randoms. 

The Jerms and I love some hot sauce, preferably only Texas Pete, made right here in NC. So we got little 3oz bottles of Texas Pete! (oh and that box they're sitting on, more hot sauce.)

We love wine but we just can't hand out bottles of wine, so mom got us some wine stoppers. They're slightly cheesy but whatevs, I'm at my breaking point here. (no you do not want a picture of them)

My latest purchase is koozies, because what wedding doesn't have a koozie?

So now I'm at another stopping point. I really wanted to do favors that were "our favorite things" but I'm just at a loss! What have y'all gotten at weddings that was unique or memorable, or what was the favor at your wedding?

Wedding Wednesday: Mr & Mrs

With the wedding only 86 days away I have been shopping around for a few Mr & Mrs things that of course, I just feel like we need!

Our plan for after the wedding is to relax, we won't be going on a honeymoon right away, but a mini-moon! We plan on escaping to the mountains for about 3-4 days after the wedding and just relaxing! So naturally I want to toast each other, drink coffee and be with him all while calling him my hubby.

So are y'all sick of my wedding talk yet? I am just now realizing how close and exciting everything is!

Blogger Weekend part 3

So as some of y'all know I have made some of my very best friends through blogging! Last June Rachel and Jamie came to Charlotte to see Emily and I, and of course it was an amazing weekend! We had never met before but it was like we were the best of friends forever! 

Then in March I traveled to Atlanta to visit Rachel & Jamie and Lindsey met us as well! 

So on our March trip we decided to plan a July trip, specifically for the companionship and some for Atlanta Mart that would be happening! So on Friday Sarah scooped me up from Raleigh and we headed to Atlanta! Jamie is slightly preggo so she kind of sat this trip out, we missed her tons!

As soon as we arrived I knew we had to head to Tin Lizzy's, we tried to go last time but it was so packed! I've heard such great things and everything lived up to the hype!

After dinner we headed to The Ivy for some amazing drinks and lots of blogger talk! I also was able to have my first Moscow Mule, too sugar-y for me, but very yummy!

Saturday we were up bright & early for the mart! Time to put our networking skills to use!

After a mentally an physically exhausting mart trip we found some delicious sushi and wine to re-fuel!

We then headed off to the Adorn Media Group party on top of The Manhattan! The most amazing views and such a cute little rooftop party! I got to meet some awesome girls and we had such a blast!

Sunday morning we packed our bags and headed to brunch at Einstein's. We met Jamie for brunch and got to hear all about baby Bennett! I am so excited for Jamie & Adam!

And what would any meal be without a picture of my food? I mean I ate so many amazing things this weekend, this one topped it! Peanut butter, banana, white chocolate, bourbon french toast. Dead.

Of course the weekend was way too short and I had such an amazing time with my friends in such a great city! Don't worry, we're already planning trip number 4, hopefully this time we can get the original clan plus a bebe together!
