Weekend

This weekend flew by, thankfully I am still in Wilmington but have no fear, it's back to reality in just a few hours!

Thursday my mom and Sister came into town to help me with the last of the wedding invites and to get my sisters hair chopped off! Mom and I spent most of the evening on our front porch just talking over a great bottle of red! My shorts for those of you that asked, are from H&M, last year.

Mid-day Friday Jeremy and I headed to the beach to see his family and attend his sisters graduation party. Friday night we headed to Britt's Donuts, because what's a trip to CB without it?

Being lame and touristy at CB...

Saturday was Brittany's graduation party and it also rained all day long! I think we all ate so much food we were just in food comas all day long.

Sunday it was perfect, so beautiful and clear! We took the boat to the north end of CB and just enjoyed the beautiful sun. Unfortunately I got fried, like totally lobster-sunburnt-fried.

Sunday before dinner we saw this plant, it's apparently an Agave Americana plant, or a century plant. The "bush" at the bottom is always growing, however the stalk and bloom at the top only blooms about once in 8-10 years. It was kind of really cool to see, it made me think of something from a Dr. Seuss book!

How was y'alls weekend?

Flowy Floral

It's Friday and I love florals! I have always had a thing for this skirt, it's probably 5-6 years old and I purchased it for maybe under $20. Talk about getting my money's worth! I recently scooped up this adorable top from where else, Petal, and knew it would be the perfect match for my beloved skirt!

Gobi Straps Giveaway

Back in college I was guilty of wearing the ever-so-popular "croakies." The rubber/elastic sunglass strap, that I had about 12 of and held onto my $5 sunglasses. I swore off all corakies until I was introduced to Gobi Straps, the sunglass strap meets the bottle opener. Cute, resourceful and perfect for those beach and pool days! Today I am giving away his & her pairs of Gobi straps to kick off your summer! Be sure to follow me on Instagram to enter the giveaway... @brenicole88

Wedding Wednesday: The Wedding Diaries part 2

Happy Wednesday y'all! Part dos of The Wedding Diaries with bareMinerals and today I'm letting y'all get a little sneak peek into my day of planning table settings and layouts! Ohhhh sooo interesting, but it actually was a lot of fun! I took my mom, sister and bridesmaid, Rachel with me on this day to pick out table arrangements, rentals and go over the layout of my ceremony and reception! Of course my morning started with a fresh face of bareSkin because y'all should know by now just how obsessed I am with it! Be sure to read part one here, all about why I am so obsessed with bareSkin!

I was really into that bright orange tablecloth... obviously kidding. However, I was kind of digging the fun pink one below!

Next we headed to a bunch of stores around town to pick up items for crafting and then after sushi and wine we headed to our venue! I wanted to run through how everything would be set up, again... practice makes perfect!

Where we will say "I do!"

Cocktail please! Cocktail hour following the ceremony will be here...

Just because I've never taken anything too seriously...

Then there is the bride's porch, where I can watch all my guest arrive over this wall but they can't see me in my dress! Such a genius and awesome idea, I love it!

The day was amazing! We got so much done and so many of my fears and anxiety has been resolved! Huge thanks to Rachel and my venue for putting up with me! I love you Rachel!
